When markets fall, what should long-term investors revisit?

A calmer way to think about volatility and your time horizon.

Market declines are uncomfortable, but short-term movements don't by themselves decide whether a long-term plan still suits you.

Revisit your need for cash, your diversification and how much decline you can genuinely tolerate, financially and emotionally.

Be wary of predictions or promised recovery timelines. Any adjustment should reflect your circumstances rather than the headlines.
